There’s lots happening in August at the Unity Hubb.
Mondays
Stay & Play continues, along with our Busy Hands Group. The Hubb will be closed on the 8th for the Ward End Festival site, part of the Birmingham Festival. There will be Chai & Chat and Dhol playing workshops taking place at Ward End Park. The Hubb is also closed on Monday 29th for the August Bank Holiday.

We have chair yoga in the morning and a reflexology and holistic session over lunch time, perfect for an energised yet relaxing Tuesday!

Wednesdays
The Unity Hubb is closed on the 3rd August for a coach trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon. We will have Mary visiting the Hubb on Wednesdays for the rest of the month, providing support for all members of the community who need it. We will also have the Men’s Chai and Chat session in the morning, our Happy Place allotment project and the Women’s Chai and Chat, also at the allotment. On the 10th and 31st we will also have Dhol playing workshops taking place on the allotment.

The Ladies Fitness sessions at the Hubb continue, along with Family Cook Together and Eat Together sessions, Career’s café, Focus Hearing & Sight support and the Girls Group, all at the Hubb. The B-Men Together Group will also be taking place on the 18th in the evening at Christchurch in Burney Lane.

Fridays
Our community support worker, Mary, will be in on Fridays to help any members of the community who need it. We will also be having European Union Settlement Scheme (EUSS) clinics on Fridays.
