It’s Easter and Ramadan this month and there is plenty to get stuck into at the Unity Hubb. Check out some of the fantastic activities we have taking place this month.
Get crafty at the Hubb! On Monday 11th we have a special workshop for all the family, where you can learn how to make some beautiful jewellery and relaxing bath bombs! Please note the Hubb will be closed on 18th April for the Easter Monday bank holiday.
Busy Hands Group – Knitting and Crochet

We have chair yoga in the morning and a reflexology and holistic session over lunch time, perfect for an energised yet relaxing Tuesday! Please note there are no sessions on Tuesday 12th April.

As well as our Chai and Chat groups, we have Mary, the Community Network support worker, who will be at the Hubb every Wednesday. She will be able to give you advice on subjects including benefits and housing, and if she can’t help you, she will know someone who can. Also look out for some special holiday family craft sessions with Faith over the Easter holidays, 13th and 20th April.

There will be free drop-in services every fortnight from Focus, a charity that supports people with sight and hearing loss. Come along to find out about their services and hope they can help if you or a family member has sight or hearing loss. We will also have our Careers Café every week, so come along for help with your job search, from CV support to interview technique. Shaz is leading the Cook Together Eat Together as usual, with a special family masterclass on 21st April, so look out for that!

We are having a special family workshop on the 22nd April, decorating a small jar to celebrate Eid. And on 29th April, Kemi will be at the Hubb for the next Women in Conversation session, a programme, created for women to engage in sensitive and liberating conversations, with other women of diverse faiths and cultural backgrounds. Please note the Hubb will be closed on 15th April for the Good Friday bank holiday.
